Snapshots of an illustration - I wanted to show one of the techniques that I use for illustration. I often begin with a light sketch of the character, clothe them, block in values, and colorize. Sometimes I also work by painting directly with the colors I want to use, but if I want to leave my options open, I work in grayscale first.
